SiteVault

Terms of Service

Last updated October 19, 2026

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between Sandcastle Interactive LLC (“we”, “us”) and the business that connects SiteVault to Webflow (“you”). By connecting SiteVault or using it, you agree to them on behalf of that business and confirm you have the authority to do so. If you don’t agree, don’t use SiteVault. SiteVault is an independent product and is not made or endorsed by Webflow.

2. The service

SiteVault keeps copies of your Webflow sites’ content outside Webflow, records changes, restores content you choose, monitors your published sites and produces client reports. We improve it over time and may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you pay for, we will tell you in advance.

3. Your connection and sites

4. Free trial

New accounts get a 14-day free trial with full access and no card required. One trial per agency: reconnecting doesn’t start a new one. When the trial ends, new backups, monitoring and reports pause until you subscribe. Existing backups stay available as described in section 10.

5. Subscription and payment

6. What backups cover

SiteVault backs up what Webflow’s API makes available: CMS collections and items in every locale, page settings (titles, slugs, SEO and Open Graph fields), assets and files used in CMS fields. It does not back up page layouts, styles, interactions, text written directly on static pages, custom code, ecommerce products and orders, membership users, form submission contents or site settings. Webflow’s own backups (in Site settings) cover the Designer side of a site, and SiteVault is meant to be used alongside them, not instead of them.

Backups run on a schedule and when Webflow notifies us of changes. Content changed and then changed again between two backups may not be captured in between. We work to keep every backup complete and verified, but we can’t guarantee it, and some content may be limited by what Webflow’s API allows.

7. Restores

A restore writes to your live Webflow site. SiteVault shows you a plan of every change and makes nothing happen until you approve it. Review the plan before you apply it. You are responsible for the restores you approve, and we aren’t liable for their effect on your site beyond our obligation to carry out the approved plan.

8. Monitoring, alerts and reports

Checks run from our servers on a schedule and may miss short outages or report problems a visitor wouldn’t see. Alert emails depend on email delivery, which we can’t guarantee. Client reports show what SiteVault recorded for the period. You decide whether and to whom reports are sent, and you are responsible for what you share with your clients.

9. Acceptable use

10. Your content and data

You own your sites’ content. You give us permission to copy, store and process it only as needed to provide SiteVault to you, as described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. If you remove SiteVault or your trial or subscription ends, your data is kept for 30 days and then permanently deleted. We email you before that happens.

11. Our property

SiteVault, including its software, design and name, belongs to Sandcastle Interactive LLC. While your account is in good standing, you have a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your business.

12. Availability

We aim to keep SiteVault running at all times but don’t promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates and problems with Webflow or our providers can interrupt backups, monitoring or access.

13. Disclaimer

SITEVAULT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Sandcastle Interactive LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business, arising from SiteVault or these terms. Our total liability for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and one hundred US dollars (US $100).

15. Suspension and termination

You can stop using SiteVault at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, don’t pay, or use SiteVault in a way that puts the service or others at risk. Where we can, we will warn you first and give you time to fix the problem. If we stop offering SiteVault altogether, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice and refund any prepaid time you haven’t used.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. We will email you about material changes before they take effect, and continuing to use SiteVault after that means you accept them.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located there.
